Well it's open week and what a start it has been! Will Jordan Spieth be able to do it? Or can big hitting Dustin Johnson take it over the line. I have had my eye on the telly and I was amazed at how many players are using TaylorMade woods! So I looked into it and AGAIN TaylorMade is the most used driver in The Open, and is in the bags of more players than Callaway, Nike, Cobra, and PING combined! That is a huge stat.
What does that tell you?
In my opinion that means TaylorMade has something that the other manufacturers haven't. But what could it be? I'll tell you. TaylorMade are ahead of the game when it comes to technology. They have the fastest and lowest spinning faces ever which creates maximum distance and forgiveness!
I'm sure a lot of you are probably thinking thats complete rubbish! but if you don't believe it then I invite you to bring your current driver and let us fit you for a new one and see what results we get.

New Rule Change At Mellor on the 2nd hole
The ‘out of bounds’ stretching from the tee to the far side of the pond on the right has been removed and replaced with a lateral water hazard.
The ditch stretching down the right side of the hole beyond the pond is now a lateral water hazard, and a ball lying right of the ditch is out of bounds. Players may therefore take relief under Rule 26.
1. You may play the ball as it lies, without grounding your club.
2. Under penalty of one stroke, play a ball from where your last shot was played.
3. Under penalty of one stroke, drop within two club lengths from the point where the ball last crossed the margin of the hazard but not nearer the hole.
Please Note: The 4th fairway beyond the pond remains out of bounds and a line of sight post will be placed to define this boundary.
