Sam's Golf Day Auction now in full flow
To those who have visited the shop this week, they will have seen the live auction board where you can bid on the selected items in preparation for the big day next Friday!
This week we have been busy in the shop getting everything ready to make the day an even bigger success than last year. Unfortunately last year we had some terrible weather early on, however this year we have ordered a scorcher! The course will be good, the greens will be fast, the atmosphere will be buzzing and the clubhouse will be full which should make a great stage for a big presentation and auction in the evening!
Raffle prizes
There will also be a raffle on the night and and donations would be much appreciated to create as many prizes as possible.
The main prize for the raffle is a Motocaddy M1 trolley, RRP £450!! Well worth buying a ticket for.

You never know we may chuck in something FREE!
What is the weak point of your game? Driving? Short putting? No doubt you have an answer. But how do you know?
For most club golfers, their answer will be based on a hunch. But ask a tour pro the same question and he can back his answer up with cold, hard figures.
Stat gathering may not sound the most exciting exercise, but it can have a very positive effect on your game. Truly know your strengths and weaknesses and you can start to work on the parts of your game that need it most. After all, as Lee Trevino said, golf is about making your worst shot better.
We'll be happy to discuss your best approach to game analysis. But for a simple start, chart your performance on par 3s, 4s and 5s for the next month. Compare the results to find out which type of your hole is weakest. Once you know that, you can begin to target your practice accordingly. And that's really going to speed up your progress.
