Well what a weekend we have coming up. Something which has never ever been done before at MTGC! Now we all know Joe Bloggs uses a Pro V1 because he thinks it's the best ball on the market....However is it right for him? Most probably not. He is most likely loosing distance and control as it is not suited to his swing.
Now a lot of you will say that golf balls are all the same. Well they're not. Now I am shouting out to you golfers who put their hands in the bag and pull out a different ball every time. If you are a victim of this, I'm not surprised your handicap isn't coming down. There are 1000's of balls in the market, all different sizes, compressions, builds, dimple designs etc. All these factors make them perform differently every time. Therefore you are never going to get the consistency you need.
This weekend book a slot between 10-2 and find out what golf ball you should be using for FREE ! You may be surprised and it could save you money and stop you buying those expensive Pro V's.
If you are serious about improving, stick to one golf ball all the time not just any old ball because it's clean.

Does this sound like you?
How often do you drive to the course thinking about how your last game of golf went? You gather up all the negatives from your previous round - the lost balls, the three putts, the duffed bunker shot - which immediately puts you on the back foot before you've even teed off.
No matter how bad you've played in recent weeks, each round is different and there's no reason as to why your next won't see your handicap drop. Take Thorbjørn Olesen for example…
Having made just three of his last 12 cuts, the 26-year-old Dane produced some sublime golf en-route to winning the Turkish Airlines Open over the weekend. It's not the first time that Olesen has triumphed off the back of some horrid form; he also won the Alfred Dunhill Links last year following a run of 13 missed cuts in 18 events.
It just goes to show that the saying is true: form is temporary, class is permanent. If there's one lesson to be learnt from this then it's to start each round with renewed optimism and confidence that you're going to play well.
And if your golf is really that bad at the moment, then why haven't you booked yourself in for a lesson yet? Get in touch here if you want to play better golf.

Premium outerwear you can rely on |
| Ok, it's not for everyone, but we notice more golfers using a yellow ball these days - they certainly have their uses at this time of the year. The Project (a) is a superb model for amateurs and is available in yellow. Maybe it's time you gave one a go… | | |
