Is the ball you play right for you?

This past week I have undergone ball training and learnt about the importance of using the right ball. Now if you are someone that uses distance devices such as 150 yard markers, laser rangefinders, or a measuring device and you use a different type of ball each round, you've wasted your money. 

If you're a player that dips your hand in the bag and pulls out any old ball that looks clean then you are never going to improve fast. All balls are different. Different dimple patterns, different dimple depths, different core materials etc. That means a same strike/swing with each ball will react differently due to the different spin rates and launch conditions. Thus making your rangefinder pointless as you don't actually know how far you hit. 

Do you see the pro's change brand of ball each hole? No! This is why they are so precise with their yardage control.

Believe it or not 75% of amateur golfers play the wrong ball!. You could gain yardage off the tee and more control around the greens with the ball that suits you! 

This season I want you to think about this and find what ball suits you best and stick with it! Watch how much more confidence you will gain and how fast your scores will reduce.
