Well on Saturday we lost an hours sleep, but we coped and it now means we can play golf in the evenings. The days are staying light until around 8pm at the moment, and if you want your game to improve then the extra practice time all adds up. 

However it's all well and good if you are practicing the right thing:

Do you know what you're working on in your swing at the moment? 
Do you have any swing thoughts that you know will help? 
Or are you just hitting the ball aimlessly developing little bad habits which snowball into big bad habits?

This happens all too often, and without anything to work on, how can you take your game to the next level. Even if it's practicing your putting for 20 minutes, or chipping on 18a for 15 minutes, it all adds up and makes a difference. 

There is a rule called the 10,000 hour rule. The theory is with 10,000 hours of perfect practice you would be at the peak of your game! However without this "perfect" practice, your game could be going backwards even though you're practicing more. That's why it is essential to get a lesson booked and get a couple of swing thoughts for you to work on and keep momentum going through the season. Whether it's putting or driving, positive mental thoughts can play a huge factor in hitting a good golf shot.
